It is great to work with the students in IE.  Sometimes in a big project, miscommunication can stand in the way of students success. However, our team is on the lookout to help students handle and prevent issues and miscommunications while working on their project. This type of real-world experience is priceless for the students' development as an employee and social contributor. Having this type of experience gives them an edge on other graduates who have not had those type of opportunities.

The Capstone Program at Purdue industrial engineering is a valuable and critical tool to teach our students the skillsets our Industry Partners are desperately seeking. This program blends the theoretical teachings the students have aquired with real application to give the students a  complete package that industry desires.
