The CONNplexity Lab has published a new paper on the associations of functional connectivity and levels of consciousness in NeuroImage.

Professor Joaquín Goñi of the CONNplexity Lab, Purdue Industrial Engineering, collaborated with Professor Steven Laureys of the COMA Science Group in Liege, Belgium, on an article entitled “Mapping the functional connectome traits of levels of consciousness”. This paper presents a novel data-driven methodology, connICA, to disentangle independent functional traits and link them to cognitive and clinical outcomes. Professor Daniele Marinazzo of the University of Ghent, Belgium, and Professor Mario Dzemidzic of the Indiana University, School of Medicine, Indianapolis, also contributed.
