Leza receiving her award
During the annual Industrial Engineering Awards dinner, the first annual “IE Outstanding Staff Award” was awarded to Leza Dellinger, IE School Coordinator. The award was voted on by IE faculty, staff and student organization Presidents. It recognizes those who continuously go above and beyond the expectations of his/her position, exhibit a consistent pattern of congenial behavior to all contacts and treat others with respect, and have a positive attitude even under the most difficult of circumstances.

Leza was also one of three College of Engineering staff leadership award finalists. The purpose of this leadership award is to recognize, encourage, and promote leadership contributions to the College of Engineering. Winners, who are selected by a committee of College of Engineering staff members, have demonstrated initiative, innovation, and have provided leadership within the department and school; they have encouraged and motivated by example other staff members; and they have promoted a welcoming and positive environment for all faculty, staff, students, and visitors.
