School of Industrial Engineering welcomes Dr. Omid Nohadani

Dr. Omid Nohadani
Dr. Omid Nohadani has joined the faculty as an Assistant Professor at the School of Industrial Engineering this semester.

Dr. Nohadani completed his Bachelor's degree at the University of Kaiserslautern, Germany in the year 1995 and his Master's degree at the University of Bonn, Germany in the year 2000. He went on to complete his Ph.D. at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles in the year 2005. He completed his Postdoc at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge in the year 2009. From 2007, he also assumed a research fellowship at the Massachusetts General Hospital and became an instructor of the Harvard medical school in 2009.

Dr. Nohadani specializes in the field of Operations Research. His research interests include Robust Optimization, Engineering design, Non-linear Optimization, Simulation methods and high performance computing, Health care and radiation therapy.
