"AI and ML in Healthcare - A Personal Journey"

ABSTRACT

Healthcare Systems Engineering research has seen tremendous growth and impact in the last decade. A few example applications related to Adverse Event Prediction, Patient Satisfaction Analysis, Text Mining for a specific treatment and Drug-to-Drug Interaction analysis will be discussed. The talk will focus on the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) in healthcare and how to explain some results will be discussed more from a practical perspective than laying emphasis on theorems and proofs.
