CE researchers receive ACI award for Excellence in Structural Research

A team of CE researchers working with NIST have been selected to receive the ACI Chester Paul Siess Award for Excellence in Structural Research for his co-authored paper, "Experimental Study of Reinforced Concrete Assemblies under Column Removal Scenario."

A team of CE researchers working with NIST at Bowen Lab has been selected to receive the ACI Chester Paul Siess Award for Excellence in Structural Research for their co-authored paper, "Experimental Study of Reinforced Concrete Assemblies under Column Removal Scenario.” The team includes Yihai Bao, H. S. Lew, Santiago Pujol, Fahim Sadek, and Mete Sozen. The paper was published in the July/August 2014 issue of the ACI Structural Journal.
