Yong Hoon Kim, a Ph.D. candidate in TIS, received the 2014 Intelligent Transportation Systems Best Presentation Award from the Transportation Science and Logistics Society of INFORMS (Institute for Operations Research and Management Science).

Purdue has launched a new website designed to help undergraduate students engage in research activities. Ph.D. student Seyed Amir Sadeghi and his co-authors (including Panagiota Karava, Assistant Professor of Civil Engineering and CEM) received the first prize in the Student Best Paper Award Competition at the 3rd International High Performance Buildings Conference at Purdue.

The Purdue University School of Civil Engineering officially marked its renaming as the Lyles School of Civil Engineering at a ceremony Friday (Sept. 26). The school is named in recognition of a $15 million gift from the Lyles Foundation.
