Congratulations to Prof. Vince Drnevich on being named an ASCE Distinguished Member by the ASCE Board. The ceremony recognizing Vince for this achievement will be held at the ASCE Annual Convention in October. ASCE only awards this honorary status to 8-10 people per year and is limited to 1 distinguished member per 7500 ASCE members. Other School of Civil Engineering faculty members who have achieved this status include Don Bloodgood (1981), Wai Fah Chen (1997), John Golberg (1989), Dan Halpin (2006), John M. Hays (1980), Harold Michael (1985), Kumares Sinha (2005) and Mete Sozen (1994).
