Whelton Group's research on wildfire recovery presented at National Academies, National Hazards Center

Ongoing research by Dr. Andrew Whelton and his team into wildfire recovery, adaptation, and long-term health impacts was presented this month at meetings of the U.S. National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine, as well as the National Hazards Center. Dr. Whelton, Professor of Civil and Construction Engineering and Sustainability Engineering and Environmental Engineering, Director of the Healthy Plumbing Consortium, and Lead for the Center for Plumbing Safety, shared efforts and discoveries from the community-focused work.
