Makarand Hastak, Professor of Civil Engineering and Head of Construction Engineering and Management, and Nader Naderpajouh, Visiting Assistant Professor of Civil Engineering and Construction Engineering and Management, received the 2016 Best Peer Reviewed Paper Honorable Mention by ASCE's Journal of Management in Engineering. Their paper, co-written with CEM grad student Juyeong Choi, is titled, "Exploratory Framework for Application of Analytics in the Construction Industry."
