Dr. Tom Iseley receives 2026 UCA Outstanding Educator Award

Dr. Tom Iseley, The Beavers Heavy Construction Distinguished Fellow and Professor of Engineering Practice, has been selected by the Underground Construction Association (UCA) as the recipient of the 2026 Outstanding Educator Award.

Dr. Tom Iseley, The Beavers Heavy Construction Distinguished Fellow and Professor of Engineering Practice, has been selected by the Underground Construction Association (UCA) as the recipient of the 2026 Outstanding Educator Award. The UCA Outstanding Educator Award is presented to professors and teachers who have had an exceptional career in academia and education in the area of underground design and construction. These individuals also have made significant contributions to the industry through their academic interests, as well as the introduction of many student graduates into the industry.

Dr. Iseley has long been known as an underground infrastructure educator through his work at Louisiana Tech University and the Trenchless Technology Center (TTC), Purdue University, and through organizations like the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and its Utility Engineering & Surveying Institute (UESI) and the North American Society for Trenchless Technology (NASTT).
