What did you learn by attending the Future Women in Kiewit Summit Conference?

I learned a lot from attending the Future Women in Kiewit Summit such as how to maximize your strengths, how to make the most out of an internship experience, and how important sustainability and social responsibility are. It was great to learn more about Kiewit as a whole – the markets they work in, their mental health initiatives, and their culture.

Which topics resonated with you during your visit?

I really enjoyed the discussion about confidence led by Dee Oswald as well as the discussion about company culture and how important it is with Darron Rolle. Those two gave amazing presentations that really made me think about the qualities I admire in a company’s culture and strategies for gaining confidence and promoting a positive work atmosphere.

Are there strategies or skills you will use that you gained from attending?

At the conference, I learned a lot of strategies for building your personal brand and how every interaction you have with someone affects your brand. I also learned strategies on how to develop a professional network.

Is there anything else you would like to share about your experience?

I really had a great time at the conference getting to meet and learn from so many accomplished individuals.
