Karen Casteloes receives AEESP Outstanding Masters Thesis Award

Karen Casteloes, recent MSCE environmental graduate of the Lyles School of Civil Engineering, received 1st place Outstanding Masters Thesis Award from the Association of Environmental Engineering and Science Professors (AEESP).

Karen Casteloes, recent MSCE environmental graduate of the Lyles School of Civil Engineering, received 1st place Outstanding Masters Thesis Award from the Association of Environmental Engineering and Science Professors (AEESP). Her thesis was entitled Techniques and Technologies for Decontaminating Chemically Contaminated Premise Plumbing Infrastructure. She will be presented with this international recognition in June 2017 at the biannual conference in Michigan.

Karen is currently a water quality engineer at Arcadis in Chicago.
