Congratulations to CE alum Don Meinheit (BSCE '66), recipient of the American Concrete Institute's Alfred E. Lindau Award for his outstanding contributions to reinforced concrete design practice.

In 2015, Don was recognized as a recipient of the Civil Engineering Alumni Achievement Award. He is retired from his role as principal of the consulting firm of Wiss, Janney, Elstner Associates Inc. (WJE), though he continues to consult and mentor young staff members. He has also taught CE 479 and CE 597 Concrete Anchorage for the past several fall semesters.
