Mikayla Gallagher completed her undergraduate education in 2022 at U.S. Air Force Academy, where she earned degrees in Astronautical Engineering and Applied Mathematics. She is a developmental engineering officer for the U.S. Space Force and previously worked with the Space-Based Infrared System (SBIRS) and Defense Support Program (DSP) missile warning satellite constellations. Her research interests include astrodynamics, space mission design, control under uncertainty, and cislunar maneuvers. When not in the lab, she enjoys running, cycling, and Formula 1.
