Kenshiro Oguri is an Assistant Professor of Aeronautics and Astronautics at Purdue University. His research group focuses on addressing scientific and engineering challenges in space exploration through advancing the state of the art in space mission design, space trajectory optimization, spacecraft guidance, navigation, and control (GNC), and space autonomy. Naoya Kumagai is a PhD student in the School of Aeronautics and Astronautics at Purdue University. He received his B.S. in Applied Mathematics from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2022. His current research focuses on stochastic optimal control theory and its applications to robust control of spacecraft under uncertainty. He is also interested in developing new control methods that enable autonomous space missions.

I’m a first-year PhD student in the Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics at Purdue University. I got my bachelor’s and Master’s in Aerospace Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur in 2022. My master’s thesis focused on autonomous spacecraft navigation using x-ray pulsars.
