Naoya Kumagai

Naoya Kumagai is a PhD student in the School of Aeronautics and Astronautics at Purdue University. He received his B.S. in Applied Mathematics from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2022 and his M.S. in Aeronautics and Astronautics from Purdue University in 2024. His current research focuses on stochastic optimal control theory and its applications to robust control of spacecraft under uncertainty. He is also interested in developing new control methods that enable autonomous space missions.
