Cailyn Ludwig received the Roberta Banaszak Gleiter/GIFTE Scholarship from the Women in Engineering Department.

The scholarship is awarded to an individual who has demonstrated engagement in outreach activities that inspire the next generation of women engineers.

The award is sponsored by Roberta Banaszak Gleiter, pictured left, who received her Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University in 1960. Cailyn was honored with the award at the Society of Women Engineers Awards Banquet in April. 

 Cailyn Ludwig is involved in the Women in Engineering Leadership teams for K-5 and high school outreach. She is heavily involved with the Professional Practice and Nuclear Engineering Ambassador programs. Cailyn is the Corporate Relations Chair for the American Nuclear Society and the Vice-President of the Institute of Nuclear Materials Management Organization.
