Senior Andrew Adelsperger emcees 2016 Dean's Homecoming Dinner

School of Nuclear Engineering student Andrew Adelsperger recently served as emcee at the 2016 Dean's Homecoming Dinner. The event, held on October 13 in the France A. Cordova Recreational Sports Center Feature Gym, was hosted by Dr. Leah Jamieson, the John A. Edwardson Dean of Engineering and Ransburg Distinguished Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering.

Adelsperger (pictured left), a senior College of Engineering Ambassador, gave prepared remarks throughout the evening which highlighted some of his own experiences in the College, and illustrated how alumni have had a positive impact on his education at Purdue. He also introduced Dean Jamieson at the beginning of her speech to attendees.

Adelsperger noted that the evening provided an opportunity to talk with alumni and supporters. “I personally enjoyed this part of the event,” he noted. “Alumni have great stories and advice.”

The annual event serves to update friends, alumni, and financial supporters on news in the College of Engineering.
