Dr. Allen Garner was the recipient of the 2016 IEEE NPSS Early Achievement Award at the 2016 IEEE International Conference on Plasma Science in Banff, Alberta, Canada.

He received the award "For contributions to the theoretical and experimental studies of the biological effects of electric pulses and plasmas and to nuclear training, education, and maintenance."

This award recognizes outstanding achievements to any of the fields of nuclear and plasma sciences within the first ten years of an individual's career.
