CMUXE undergraduate students Jason Becker and Patrick Skrodzki have won NASLIBS poster prize at 8th international conference on Laser Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy which was held in Bejing, China from 8th-12th Sep 2014.

The award winning poster was titled "Double-pulse Nd:YAG-CO₂ LIBS Excitation for Bulk and Trace Analytes". They also presented another poster titled "Double-pulse LIBS of Samples Containing Uranium" which was highly appreciated.

The poster award comprises of $500 Amazon Gift card and Certificate of Excellence
