We are a relatively small Civil Engineering and Surveying Company located in the heart of the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. G&M has been in business for 20 years and we have worked with Co-Op students from Texas, Texas A&M, Michigan State, Purdue, Georgia Tech and Cincinnati for the last four years. We specialize in commercial, industrial, and residential land development and we currently have projects in Arizona, Mississippi, Tennessee, and Texas. In general, G&M is a very young company with two Registered Surveyors and six Professional Engineers. The two original partners are in their mid-40s with 65% of the company age 30 years or younger. This has created an atmosphere that makes us a very aggressive company. We like to think of ourselves as a work hard/play hard group that has built great relationships with our clients, contractors, and city officials through our extra efforts. We also like to create a relaxed and fun environment around the office and this is reflective in our relaxed dress code and flexible time-off approach. Our company has season tickets to the Dallas Mavericks and Dallas Stars for all of the employees (including co-op students) to utilize for themselves and their families. We have a company softball team and try to take an afternoon off several times a year for company outings such as paintball wars. We offer free housing for our co-op students, through an apartment that we rent year-around, and we will also reimburse students for their travel expenses to and from our office for each semester.
