Chief Marketing Officer
Convergint
"Engineering the Architecture of Change."
Julie Roehm is a visionary change-maker whose career is defined not by a specific industry, but by a mastery of leadership, marketing, and digital transformation. As the Chief Marketing Officer at Convergint, Julie leverages a unique blend of bold innovation and disciplined analytics — a combination she traces back to her Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering from Purdue University.
For Julie, her Purdue degree was more than a technical foundation; it was the training ground for the calculated risks that have become her professional hallmark. By applying the principles of engineering risk analysis and systems thinking to business, she has successfully transformed diverse sectors — from automotive and enterprise software to retail and global security. Her career stands as a testament that true expertise lies in the mastery of the role, using data to navigate high stakes change and drive profitable growth.
Julie’s career milestones reflect this industry-agnostic expertise. At Ford, she successfully led the paradigm-shaking launch of the Ford Focus in the U.S. market. At DaimlerChrysler, she applied that same analytical rigor to oversee a $2 billion budget and engineer the strategic resurrection of the Dodge brand and the iconic Hemi engine.
As Global Senior Vice President at SAP, she transformed storytelling into a €200 million revenue engine. Later, as Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Executive Officer of Party City, she led an 80 percent increase in digital sales through a total operational overhaul and digital transformation.
These achievements have earned her the industry’s highest honors, including being named Brand Marketer of the Year and receiving prestigious inductions into the Automotive Hall of Fame and the American Advertising Federation Hall of Achievement.
Beyond her executive roles, Julie serves on the boards of the Digital Marketing Institute and the National Kidney Foundation. Whether scaling global strategies or mentoring the next generation of leaders, Julie remains a proud Boilermaker. Her journey proves that when you are trained to solve problems like an engineer, you can lead, innovate, and transform any industry in the world.
