Ersal Ozdemir, born and raised in Turkey, moved to the United States in 1993 to pursue an engineering degree, graduating from Purdue University in 1997. During his time at Purdue, he was active in various organizations serving as Treasurer of American Society of Civil Engineers, Senator on the Purdue Student Senate, and Finance Chairman for the Great Lakes Regional Conference.

In 2002, Ersal started Keystone Group, a development, construction, property management and investments company. Over the last 20 years — with his leadership and vision — Keystone has become one of the largest privately-owned Real Estate Development Companies in Indiana, making a considerable impact on Indianapolis and surrounding communities, and become an industry-leader of transformative mixed-use projects.

Ersal is very engaged in the community and serves on many boards including Indy Chamber of Commerce, Indiana Chamber of Commerce, Park Tudor, and Greater Indianapolis Progress Committee. He is also on the Board of Trustees for University of Indianapolis as well as serves on the Advisory Councils for Purdue College of Engineering and Purdue’s Lyles School of Civil Engineering. He is also very active with local charities including the Alzheimer’s Association and the American Heart Association as well as enjoys being an Industry Partner for curriculum challenges with Purdue Polytechnic High Schools in Indianapolis.

Ersal was a graduate of the Stanley K. Lacy Executive Leadership Class XXVII and has won many awards including 2006 Businessman of the Year, Business Advisory Council; 2009 Indianapolis Business Journal, Forty Under Forty; 2008 KPMG Indy’s Best and Brightest Winner in Real Estate Development and Construction; and 2011 IBJ’s Who’s Who in Real Estate and Construction, Design & Engineering.

Ersal is also the Owner of Indy Eleven, Indiana’s professional soccer team started in 2013, recently expanded with a women’s team in 2021 and the team provides support for more than 15,000 rec-level players and growing across the Hoosier State. He speaks to various groups and has been interviewed about a variety of international issues over the years.

Ersal enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, playing soccer, and supporting various not-for-profit organizations. He and his wife, Izabela, have four children and live in Carmel, Indiana.
