Position Summary: Under the direction of the Project Superintendent, the Foreman will direct the activities of workers concerned with construction associated with water supply, transmission, and water or wastewater treatment facilities while maintaining high-quality work. This position will direct workers in the construction of new facilities, or modifications or expansions.

Essential Job functions:

Ability to interpret plans and specifications
Ability to perform construction staking using basic instruments
Good communication skills with the crew and local officials
Ability to speak English and Spanish is preferred for the FL locations
Must be physically capable of performing work requirements asked of them, including significant laboring and any other tasks needed
Must follow all safety policies and safety procedures per company and utility customer standards
Ability to perform the essential physical functions of the job and operate within a short time frame as needed
Must work well with others
Position Qualifications:

A minimum of 2 years experience in leading a crew in the installation of water and sewer-related work
Prior pipeline/treatment plant construction experience preferred
Working knowledge of general hand tools and power tools preferred
Experience operating Backhoes, Track Hoes, and Front-End Loaders preferred
Ability to work in all types of weather
Prerequisites:

Valid Driver's License
Display a professional and courteous attitude at all times
Ability to work nights/weekends when required
Ability to work overtime when required
Ability to travel when required
Must be able to lift 50+ pounds
Be willing to work outdoors in extreme conditions (hot/cold)
Be able to read project plans and specifications
Have the willingness to work in a team environment
