Mohave County Public Works provides maintenance and operation of 2,100 road miles, 3 public water systems, Davis Camp and Hualapai Mountain regional County parks plus 4 community parks, approximately 300 County motor pool vehicles, and about 600,000 sq. ft. of County building facilities through a staff of over 150. The Department became the 44th public works agency in North America to be accredited by the American Public Works Association, and its Parks Division was accredited by the Commission for Accreditation of Park and Recreation Agencies in 2014.

Mohave County, located in growing Northwestern Arizona and geographically central to several major metropolitan and recreational areas including the Grand Canyon and Colorado River, is the fifth largest county by area in the continental United States.
