Test & Tune #1: Thursday, September 12, 2024, Whiteland Raceway Park

Itinerary:

  • 9:30am   Track registration, waiver signing, payment
  • 9:45am – 11:00am    evGP Registration & Technical Inspection Open
  • 10:30am - 10:45am    Welcome & Driver’s Meeting
  • 11:00am – 12:30pm    Track Open – Practice
  • 12:30pm – 1:30pm    Track Closed – Lunch & charging break
  • 1:30pm - 1:45pm    Staging for exhibition race*
  • 1:45pm - 2:15pm    Exhibition race*
  • 2:15pm – 3:00pm    Track Open – Practice*
  • 3:00pm – 3:30pm    Pack trailers & clean site
  • 3:30pm    Site closed

Requirements:

  • Fill out the Whiteland Raceway Park waiver (except for the Witness lines) and bring a hard-copy of the form to registration onsite.  Students over 18 can fill out their own form.  Students under 18 need to have their parents fill out the form.
  • Liability release for all participants: Each participant must have a signed form.  Minors must have a parent/custodian’s signature.  We ask the teacher to come with completed forms and all participants to check-in on race day.  Each participant will receive a pit pass (wrist band).
  • Technical Inspection Form for each kart: The Crew Chief is to bring the completed form with the kart to Technical Inspection.  Technical Inspection will not begin until all above forms are submitted and accepted.
  • Driver Safety Presentation: All drivers must watch this presentation before driving in their first evGP event of the season (school year).
  • Driver’s Test: All drivers must pass this test before driving in their first evGP event of the season.  The test only needs to be passed one time per season (school year).

Itinerary:

  • 9:00am - 10:00am    Site & Track set-up
  • 10:00am – 11:00am    On-site registration & Technical Inspection Open
  • 10:00am – 10:30am    Track Walk Open / Track Worker training
  • 10:45am - 11:00am    Welcome & Driver’s Meeting
  • 11:00am – 12:30pm    Track Open – Practice
  • 12:30pm – 1:30pm    Track Closed – Lunch, Track Lab, Battery charging
  • 1:30pm - 2:00pm    Fastest Lap challenge
  • 2:00pm – 3:30pm    Track Open – Practice
  • 3:30pm – 4:00pm    Pack trailers & clean site
  • 4:00pm    Site closed
