Ankita Awasthi

Ankita Awasthi is a Ph.D. student in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Purdue University. She completed her Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Bhilai. She specializes in applied Machine Learning, AI, and Computer Vision. Her work focuses on translating research into tangible applications and has been recognized for its contributions to health-tech. She was awarded the Young Researcher Award by the Director of IIT Bhilai and received distinguished recognition from the President of India for a Health-Tech App. She was also a government-invited participant in the Sakura Science Program in Japan, an international exchange project on high-speed image processing at Hiroshima University.
