David Limpus graduated from Vanderbilt University in 2024 with a B.E. in Electrical and Computer Engineering. As an undergraduate, he conducted research on biomedical sensing hardware and algorithms for biomarker detection, focusing on point-of-care diagnostics. During his senior year, he joined Vanderbilt’s Aerospace Design Laboratory as an electrical engineer, where he developed communication electronics for the team's rocket payload. David is particularly passionate about neuromorphic computing, focusing on its applications in edge computing for healthcare and perception systems in robotics. He joined Purdue University as a PhD student in Electrical and Computer Engineering in 2024 under the supervision of Professor Kaushik Roy.
