Jimmy Gammell

Jimmy Gammell graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder with B.S. degrees in electrical/computer engineering and applied math in 2021. While an undergraduate, he interned at the National Institute of Standards and Technology, where he researched ways to implement deep learning efficiently in hardware. He joined Purdue in 2021 to pursue a PhD in ECE under the guidance of Prof. Kaushik Roy. His current research interests include neuromorphic systems and the design of algorithms for them.
