Yash Ganatra joined the MTEC lab in August 2014. His thesis work, entitled "PASSIVE THERMAL MANAGEMENT USING PHASE CHANGE MATERIALS", demonstrated a significant enhancement in device temperatures with phase change materials.

| Jiahong Fu joined the MTEC lab in August 2014. His thesis work, entitled "UNCERTAINTY QUANTIFICATION ON INDUSTRIAL HIGH PRESSURE DIE CASTING PROCESS" in collaboration with Prof Matt Krane's group in Materials Science and Engineering, demonstrated the importance of material properties and boundary conditions on the die casting process and casting part quality. |
