-               No new business

2. Review of College of Engineering Safety Committee Meeting Minutes

-               No meeting since May

3. Review of Open Safety Items List

-               Lt. Weitbrock’s assessment of WANG was reviewed.  The most pressing action item is the importance and responsibility of the reception area. 

o   The safety committee will review the training of the (3) receptionists in the ENE Department and make recommendations.

o   Will communicate findings at the next staff meeting

o   Will make sure that there are no obstacles preventing evacuation during our REM audits

-               New slides will be prepared for ENGR 131/132 that will include proper cord protocol in B098 as well as proper skateboard storage and hoverboard restrictions.

-               Need to find a graduate student representative for the Safety Committee.  Will reach out to new graduate students during orientation.

-               No new items

5. New Items

-               The ARMSTRONG Building Emergency Plan was reviewed.  Updates and corrections will be shared with Phil Qualio, the Building Deputy.
