1. New Business

-          Discussed end of the semester safety concerns

o   Plans for ENGR 142 final demonstration transportation/lifting training

o   Lab use policy for minors

o   Lab security and locking procedures

-          Plan to schedule workplace violence training for the week prior to fall semester classes

-          Plan to recertify all safety committee members on bloodborne pathogen procedures

-          Summer safety meetings scheduled for May 20^th, June 17^th, July 15^th, and August 12^th at 10am in ARMS B098

2. Review of College of Engineering Safety Committee Meeting Minutes

-          April meeting was cancelled

3. Review of Open Safety Items List

-          Item #38: Closed. Full implementation of safe tool use has been rolled out to FYE classes. Will continue to monitor and update classroom materials.

4. Review of Open Near Miss Items

-          No changes to report
