2017 Undergraduate Student Awards of Excellence
Annually, we celebrate students of academic and service achievements in our undergraduate programs of Interdisciplinary Engineering Studies and Multidisciplinary Engineering. For 2017, we have five honorees, Reis Lehman, Abby Lemert, Sean Obrecht, Lucas Ray, and Danielle Render. Congratulations to all of our honorees!

Brian C. Bosma, 2017 Interdisciplinary Engineering Outstanding Alumnus
It is our great pleasure to present this year’s recipient of the Engineering Education Outstanding Alumni Award to Brian C. Bosma, graduate of the former Division of Interdisciplinary Engineering (now part of the School of Engineering Education). The Engineering Education Outstanding Alumni Award is presented to alumni who have achieved singular accomplishments in their fields, whose successful careers are role models for our students, and whose achievements set an example for all the School’s alumni.

First-Year Engineering Students' Space Exhibits "Tested and Approved" by State-Wide Middle School Students
Last week, Profs. Allison Godwin and Tamara Moore hosted 180 middle school students from two Indiana schools to test their First-Year Engineering students' space-related educational exhibit prototypes and take-home activities.

Last Thursday, we hosted the sixth annual Interdisciplinary Engineering Colloquium in the Kurz Atrium of Armstrong Hall. This year's theme centered on our collaboration with the College of Liberal Arts School of Visual and Performing Arts for Acoustics and Theatre Engineering.

Research to Practice: Dr. Mary Pilotte
Dr. Mary Pilotte was featured last week as a luncheon speaker for the Association for Women in Communications, who meet monthly at the YWCA in Lafayette. Members include many from the banking industry, Purdue University Marketing and Media, and small business owners in the greater Lafayette area.
