CQEM Lab Welcomes New Students in Fall 2022
Ghazi Khan will be joining the CQEM Lab as a new PhD student in Electrical and Computer Engineering. He will be working on developing semiclassical numerical modeling methods for superconducting circuit quantum devices. These methods provide the needed accuracy for designing many kinds of emerging technologies and are substantially more efficient than existing modeling approaches.
Adhitya Ramkumar and Nicholas Sergeant are also joining the CQEM Lab as undergraduate research assistants. Both are seniors in Electrical and Computer Engineering. They will work on improving the generality of the semiclassical numerical modeling methods being developed in the group, as well as developing a GUI to make the tools easy to use for designers in the field.
