To get familiar with campus, the participants in our mentoring program went on a photo scavenger hunt to find campus landmarks or unique things on campus. The three pairs that competed had a blast and we hope to make this an annual ABE-GSA Mentoring event.
ABE-GSA hosted our annual Welcome (Back) Social for all new and returning ABE Graduate Students directly following the end of new ABE grad orientation. Many new students and many returners turned out for a showing of more 40 people. What a great time!
We had a great time with over 30 ABE Grads + Friends canoeing on Wildcat Creek!
More than 30 students came to our May/June Birthday Bash celebration on June 24! Celebrating birthdays is a great way for us to get out of the office and de-stress by socializing and getting to know one another!
ABE-GSA hosted a barbecue social on Saturday June 20, 2015 at Squirrel Park at the Purdue Village! More than 30 ABE Graduate Students ( + friends and family) showed up with side dishes and desserts and enjoyed grilled hot dogs, hamburgers, and veggie burgers!
After dinner a dozen+ students stayed around and played sand volleyball. Overall, we would say this event was a success!
