Purdue Team attended CMI winter meeting in Colorado

Graduate research assistants Sidi Deng and Xiaoyu Zhou attended the 2020 CMI (critical materials institutes) winter meeting in Golden, Colorado, hosted by Colorado School of Mines.

The team delivered a poster presentation that highlights Purdue’s activities in evaluating and optimizing the economic performance of CMI projects, through techno-economic assessment (TEA) and design of experiments (DOE). During the meeting sessions from February 13th to 15th, the team updated the progress that has been made over the last year to the collaborators, and participated in the discussion for the solutions to mitigate the US domestic supply risk of critical materials.
