ENE Co-Authors Godwin and Rohde Receive Benjamin Dasher Best Paper Award for FIE 2017

Congratulations to Dr. Allison Godwin and Jacki Rohde, along with their co-authors, for receiving the Benjamin Dasher Best Paper Award for FIE 2017. Their paper, entitled, "Understanding the Pathways of Students with Normative Attitudes in Engineering," was presented at the annual FIE Conference in Indianapolis last month.

It is our great pleasure to present this year’s recipient of the Engineering Education Outstanding Alumni Award to Thomas A. Gray, graduate of the former Division of Interdisciplinary Engineering (now part of the School of Engineering Education). The Engineering Education Outstanding Alumni Award is presented to alumni who have achieved singular accomplishments in their fields, whose successful careers are role models for our students, and whose achievements set an example for all the School’s alumni.

Engineering Education Research Presented at 2015 Frontiers in Education Conference

Many of our faculty and graduate students traveled to El Paso last week to share their latest research in engineering education. The conference, Frontiers in Education (FIE), is an international platform sponsored by the IEEE Computer and IEEE Education Societies as well as the ASEE Educational Research and Methods Division. Associate Professor Senay Purzer served as co-chair for the conference. Assistant Professor Joyce Main received the 2015 FIE New Faculty Fellowship Award. Congratulations to Joyce!
