"For as long as I can remember, I knew I wanted to build machines that flew and my aero degree from Purdue provided me the tremendous foundation to do just that. I now have the privilege of leading Boeing's Advanced Systems, where we continue to design and develop the future of air and space flight."

Darryl Davis received a BSAAE from Purdue University in 1978 and an MS in mechanical engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla (now known as Missouri University of Science and Technology). He is currently the president of Advanced Systems for the Integrated Defense Systems unit of The Boeing Company. Also at Boeing, Davis has served as vice president of Advanced Precision Engagement and Mobility Systems, vice president of Global Strike Solutions, and program manager for the Joint Unmanned Combat Air Systems X-45. He has also held leadership positions with McDonnell Douglas.

Davis is a member of the AIAA and the Air Force Association and serves on the Boeing St. Louis Regional Contribution Council. He is a former Brookings Institute Congressional Fellow with the U.S. Senate.
