Dr. Tallman was an invited participant in the NSF workshop on the Convergence of Smart Sensing Systems, Applications, Analytic, and Decision Making. This workshop brought together stakeholders with expertise in sensing systems as well as experts in theoretic areas such as signal processing, optimization, machine learning, and control theory to address present and future challenges in smart sensing and analytics.
