Job Corner with Ms. Whelton, PE

If you are looking for summer job opportunities, there is still time. I will continue to send emails about opportunities.

The CCO is a great place to find both full-time and internship related opportunities. I don’t post their opportunities. If you don’t have a CCO account or haven’t looked at it this semester, please go to here. The jobs tab of Linked In is another great way to look for jobs or even using general job search engines.  Don’t forget that research counts as related experience!

There is one more career fair to look for job opportunities, the Just in Time career fair on April 19th. There are also informational sessions still going on which are a great way to connect with employers. Currently Cummins and NextEra Energy are companies of interest that have sessions coming up after spring break. Keep checking to see if more are added and to see if there are others that interest you.

The CCO is also hosting a virtual negotiation event. Might be good to attend. I’m also here to help you with your personal negotiation, job offer, career path and resume. Just email me to make an appointment.

Need a professional outfit for an interview or recognition night? The CCO has a career closet where you can get a professional outfit for free!
