Ehsan Vahidi receives 2018 College of Engineering Outstanding Graduate Student Research Award

EEE Ph.D. candidate, Ehsan Vahidi, has received an Outstanding Research Award from the College of Engineering at Purdue University. This honor recognizes outstanding Ph.D. candidates who have demonstrated excellence in research through publications, recognized contributions to the research field and society, leadership within a research community, academic achievements, and participation in professional societies.

Mashtare receives teaching award

Michael Mashtare, assistant professor in Environmental and Ecological Engineering was honored with the 2018 Exceptional Early Career Award. The award recognizes outstanding undergraduate teaching among Purdue's early career, tenure-track faculty.

Two EEE graduate students present at the 2018 Critical Materials Institute (CMI) Winter Meeting

Two graduate students with Environmental and Ecological Engineering (EEE) recently attended the 2018 Critical Materials Institute (CMI) winter meeting at Colorado School of Mines in Golden, CO.

EEE Ph.D. candidate Ehsan Vahidi, and Ph.D. candidate Hongyue Jin both presented their research at the event which focuses on improving technologies that make better use of materials that are essential for American competitiveness in clean energy.

Vahidi receives A.H. Ismail Interdisciplinary Graduate School Grant

Ehsan Vahidi, a Ph. D. candidate in Environmental and Ecological Engineering has been selected as a recipient of the A.H. Ismail Interdisciplinary Graduate School Grant.

This award is designed to provide travel support for doctoral students in interdisciplinary programs who are presenting their doctoral research at a national or international conference.
