Congratulations to the Indiana Bicentennial Torch Team from Purdue University who received the Team Award from the College of Engineering during the Faculty Awards of Excellence banquet held on April 6.

A team from Purdue University recently competed in the Reusable Abstractions of Manufacturing Processes (RAMP) challenge from the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and received first place.

Environmental and Ecological Engineering recently achieved an academic unit milestone in awarding its first Ph. D. degree to Ehsan Vahidi.

EEE Assistant Professor, Amisha Shah is the recipient of the Society of Environmental and Ecological Engineers (SEEE) Instructional Excellence Award.

Ehsan Vahidi, a Ph.D. candidate in EEE has been awarded the 2018 Ecological Sciences and Engineering (ESE) Outstanding Research Award at the First Annual ESE Student Achievement Awards. This award is given annually to an outstanding Ecological Sciences and Engineering graduate student in research.

John W. Sutherland, the Fehsenfeld Family Head of Environmental and Ecological Engineering (EEE) at Purdue University, recently received the 2018 SME (Society of Manufacturing Engineers) Gold Medal at the SME International Awards Gala in Boston, MA.

Several EEE faculty members, graduate students, and undergraduate students received grants from the Center for the Environment (C4E) in Purdue’s Discovery Park to fund collaborative research on interdisciplinary environmental challenges.
