John Ganser is a graduate student in the School of Engineering Technology. He is currently working on developing a thesis focused on the topic of hybrid energy storage systems for unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) applications and is expected to graduate with a M.S. degree in spring of 2018. He holds B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Purdue University at West Lafayette and has industry experience as a practicing applications engineer for Caterpillar Oil and Gas. The scope of John's research includes application and testing of hybrid electric propulsion systems for aircraft.
