Illinois-Indiana Sea Grant Event
From IISG: We are thrilled to invite you to the return of an engaging event hosted by the Illinois-Indiana Sea Grant (IISG) on the Purdue campus on June 25, 2024, from 3:00 - 5:30 pm. This event aims to exchange cutting-edge research results and opportunities for collaboration among IISG-funded researchers and staff as well as provide an opportunity to learn more about each other.
The event will kick off with lightning presentations from 17 distinguished IISG-funded researchers from various institutions across Illinois and Indiana. These presentations will feature work from graduate students and faculty scholars, and awardees of 2-year research projects.
Following these presentations, Director Tomas Höök will introduce IISG staff, and attendees will have the chance to network and discuss ongoing projects and potential collaborations during a reception. The reception will include IISG staff, funded researchers, IISG advisory committee members, and members of the Purdue community.
Join us for partial or the entirety of the 2.5-hr event and enjoy an afternoon of insightful discussion, new connections, and delicious food and refreshments. Full details can be found below. We look forward to seeing you there!
