EEE Outstanding Senior Award recipient announced

Each year, the Environmental and Ecological Engineering (EEE) faculty presents an award to the outstanding senior during the annual recognition night in April. The selected recipient is recognized for their exceptional academic performance, leadership, service, and professional activities. This year’s recipient is Jenna Klinedinst.

Outside of her regular coursework, Klinedinst has held a co-op with Kimberly-Clark and interned with General Motors and the City of Fort Wayne.

During her time as an undergrad, she was part of a Global Engineering Design Team and served as an ambassador for EEE. Klinedinst also held leadership roles in the Purdue Society of Women Engineers.

Larry Nies, professor in environmental and ecological engineering, commented on Klinedinst's involvement and accomplishments saying, "Jenna has an exemplary record of service and academic achievement as well as a diverse portfolio of relevant work experience that will serve her well in what looks to be a very bright future. She is a charismatic and positive representative of our students at Purdue University and a great ambassador for our University and the EEE program. "

Jenna will remain at Purdue as a combined degree student in EEE under the mentoring of Dr. John W. Sutherland, Professor and Fehsenfeld Family Head, Environmental and Ecological Engineering.
