Eshan Ganju Awarded CoE's TRACER Grant
From a competitive pool of graduate and postdoctoral scholars in Purdue's College of Engineering, Eshan Ganju was selected as one of four recipients for the TRAvel for CollaborativE Research grant. The TRACER program supports scholars in the process of pursuing faculty positions as they build connections with research institutions and advance their technical skills. Awardees are reimbursed for $10,000 of travel expenses used to participate in research at universities in the US or abroad. Eshan will use the funds to visit Technische Universtat Dresden in Germany and work with Dr. Markus Kästner. In Dr. Ganju's words,
“This collaboration will develop ML models to accelerate the acquisition and analyses of high-volume multiscale and multimodal XCT and SEM-based microstructural data collected at Purdue in Dr. Chawla’s laboratory.”
