With the start of the spring semester, the Chawla group is welcoming two new graduate students. Nicole Balog comes to the group as a second year PhD student with a plan to continue and expand work on natural honeycombs. Poonchezian Vishnu Prakash joins as a masters student and will be examining fatigue behaviors in welded and shot-peened steel joints.
