PGSO e-board organized a socializing event on February 1st, 2019 for the cohort. Since our cohort is very diverse in culture and many of our members have not experienced ice skating before, PGSO thought it to be a timely event to introduce American culture to international students. Twenty students participated in this event. It was a unique experience from wearing blade shoes to first step on ice ring, slipping and tripping and with experts teaching first timers on how to skate. It was a fun socializing moment to share a laugh and cheer up the scared ones.

Later everyone went out to eat at Nine Irish Brothers where dinner was sponsored by PGSO. With a great turnout and good feedback from our cohort, PGSO had a successful fun socializing event organized.
