Sierra Knoch will be joining the CQEM Lab as an online MS student, starting work in the Fall 2021 semester. Welcome!

Sierra will initially be working on the development of potential-based finite-difference time-domain codes that can be useful in performing a semiclassical analysis of how classical electromagnetic fields modify the state of quantum bits. She will be particularly focusing on extending these models to account for electromagnetically dispersive materials that are commonly encountered in integrated photonic platforms.
